These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase from M/s. SHAURYA of a subscription to a “SHAURYA POSH Act Compliance Services” from the website: www.shaurya.org.in (referred to in these terms as the “SHAURYA Website”) and should be read in conjunction with our General Terms found here.
Please read both these Terms and the General Terms carefully before you purchase SHAURYA POSH ACT Compliance Services. By purchasing SHAURYA POSH ACT Compliance Services, you confirm that you accept the General Terms and these Additional Terms and that you agree to comply with them. Capitalised terms used but not otherwise defined in these Additional Terms have the meaning given to them in the General Terms.
Without prejudice to our powers under the General Terms, you agree that we may at our sole discretion, without notice to you, terminate or amend the General Terms or these Additional Terms at any time.
References to “you” and “your” are references to the individual (e.g. parent) subscribing to the SHAURYA POSH ACT Compliance Services.
These General Terms and Conditions (the “General Terms”) govern (a)your use of the website/any other services in connection our website /products (services) or (b)any modes of registration or usage of products including through mobiles, laptops, tablets or any other storage/transmitting devices between M/s. SHAURYA and its users (User/You/your).
These terms constitute Electronic record in accordance with the provisions of Indian information Technology Act and Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 thereunder as amended from time to time.

Additional terms, which should be read in conjunction with these General Terms apply to some of our Services (“Additional Terms”) and can be accessed.

Registration by you and your online shaurya.org.in account
The Services require you to register and provide information about yourself. You agree to: (a) provide accurate and complete information about yourself as prompted by the relevant registration form and (b) maintain and promptly update this information (by using the appropriate forms on our website or emailing us at madhukar@shaurya.org.in). We may terminate your account and any or all rights that you have been granted to make use of our website/services, if any information you provide is inaccurate, false, or incomplete
The registration processes on our website/app involve you generating OTP password by using your mobile number or logging in using personal email ID. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, Mobile no and password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify us of any un -authorised use of your account and any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.
You agree that we have no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any messages, other communications or other content maintained or transmitted by our Services. We reserve the right to deactivate accounts that are inactive for an extended period of time.
Email Communication
By registering to shaurya.org.in you agree to receive occasional “account maintenance” email notifications/mailers/alerts or messages, these will inform you about your account details and also provide links to “Getting Started” resources when you first register as well as essential account information in relation to the Service. You will also be placed onto the mailing list to receive our value added marketing emails that provide additional resources and news about educational apps which you can unsubscribe from at any stage.
User-Uploaded Content
We do not pre-screen User-Uploaded Content but we have the right to monitor User-Uploaded Content if we wish. If we determine that any User-Uploaded Content is inappropriate or otherwise objectionable, we may remove any User-Uploaded Content from the website without any liability to you or to a third party.
By submitting the content on or through our service (Your material), you grant us a non-exclusive , royalty free license (with right to sub license) to use , modify, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, publish, transmit, display such material in any and all media distribution methods and to associate your material with you except as described below. You should not reproduce, copy, modify, create derivative works from or communicate or make any of the content of our Website or Services available to third parties without SHAURYA prior written consent.
- Alter or modify any part of the services.

You acknowledge that any Confidential Information (as defined below) which you obtain from your use of our Services constitutes the valuable, confidential, proprietary information of MAJORS and its licensors, and you agree that you shall not, without our express written consent, use or disclose to any other person any such Confidential Information, except as specifically authorised under these General Terms or as required by law. For the purposes of these General Terms, “Confidential Information” means any and all data, information, documents, software or materials relating to the business and management of MAJORS, its users and members, licensors and/or licensees that is designated as confidential or ought reasonably to be considered confidential.
Modifications to the Website and/or Services
We reserve the right at any time to modify, suspend or discontinue a Website or the provision of a Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of a Website or a Service other than as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
Although we have no reason to believe that any information contained in this Site is inaccurate, we do not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the information except where warranties are made non-excludable by applicable legislation. Website Subscription
Before you begin to use your Subscription, you must open an online account at the shaurya.org.in Website. You will be able to access any resources by logging into our website through your internet browser either on a desktop PC or mobile device. Upon registration through any means whatsoever, the Company may contact you through your registered mobile number or email or any other mobile number or contact number or email provided by you to enable effective provision of services. The user expressly permits the Company to contact him/her and the student utilizing the services, through the above-mentioned means at any time post registration.: -Further, the Company shall have the right to monitor the download and usage of the Application/Services/Products and the content therefore by the user/student, to analyse such usage and discuss the same with user/student to enable effective and efficient usage of the Services. The User expressly permits the Company to clear the doubts of the students using the Application/Services/ online portal by answering the questions placed before it, providing study plans, informing of the progress, providing feedback, communicating with the student, counselling the student and mentoring the student through telephone or email or any digital media on express consent of the legal guardian/parent of the user or through any other forum.
Disclaimer: The apps recommended in our App Library are third party applications and will have to be downloaded from their source site. We provide a value added service to support users to make informed choices when it comes to what apps to buy and to use
You are not permitted to copy or modify any materials contained on the shaurya.org.in Website/app. In addition to the restrictions set out in the General Terms, you agree not to: (i) share or broadcast any materials contained on the shaurya.org.in Website with any third party; or (ii) use the materials for any commercial purposes.
SHAURYA POSH ACT Compliance Services:
The primary service of shaurya.org.in is providing Sexual Harassment Awareness Understanding Youth Advisory and POSH Act Corporate compliance services through subscription to various counselling programs’ subscriptions:
MAJORS.LIFE COUNSELLING PROGRAMS’ SUBSCRIPTIONS:
When a user purchases a majors.life subscription they get access to MAJORS.LIFE counselors and our website where users can access Videos, Communities, Blogs till the period of their active plan. If the Plan is not renewed then the services will be deactivated until the user renews the subscription again.
SHAURYA has the sole discretion to set, modify, etc the price for all subscription plans without any notice to the user. SHAURYA may change the structure or the plan or may offer promotional price for all plan at discretion.
If the user is found sharing, selling or distributing their subscription plan account with others then the user account will be suspended without refunds.
Note: SHAURYA does not store any financial information about the user, such as credit card, net-banking, etc details. Hence SHAURYA is not liable for any loss, theft, hack, etc to the user due to using their financial details on the web or app. These details may be collected by their party payment gateways which SHAURYA uses to collect payment. We recommend user to read their privacy policy.
The duration of your shaurya.org.in Subscription
On subscribing to the SHAURYA POSH ACT Compliance services Subscription plan you may receive the option of a free “trial period”. If a free trial period is available and you choose this option, your free trial will commence on the date and shall continue for the period specified in the website (the “Free Trial”)
Your shaurya.org.in POSH Act compliance services subscription shall commence on the date confirming acceptance of your order or following the expiry of a Free Trial (if applicable) and shall continue for the period of time that you selected when you chose your Subscription package (the “Initial Term”).
On expiry of the Initial Term (and on every successive expiry of any Renewal Term) the shaurya.org.in POSH Act compliance services Subscription will need to be renewed by the user for keeping access to SHAURYA POSH ACT Compliance SERVICES Subscription.
Payment
Payment can be made by credit or debit card/bank transfer. We will deduct the appropriate amount from your credit or debit card or bank account on the commencement of the Initial Term or shortly thereafter and on every subsequent anniversary of the Initial Term.
By placing an order, you confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used by you is yours (or that you have the permission of the account holder).
All credit card transactions are completed over a secure internet connection using strong cryptography and security protocols.
Digital certificates are used to maximise security when receiving credit card information.
These transaction are routed to third party service providers to which we do not have any control and SHAURYA takes no responsibility for any fraud or loss occurred while transacting with such modes.
If we have not received payment within five days after the date payment is due, we may temporarily or permanently disable your access to your shaurya.org.in POSH ACT Compliance services subscription and we shall be under no obligation to provide any or all of the services relating to the SHAURYA.ORG.IN POSH ACT COMPLIANCE SERVICES Subscription while any payments remain unpaid.
Terminating your shaurya.org.in POSH ACT Compliance services Subscription
Either party may terminate the MAJORS.LIFE SERVICES Subscription on expiry of the Initial Term or Renewal Term (as appropriate) by giving the other party a minimum of 14 days written notice of termination prior to expiry of the Initial Term or the then current Renewal Term. MAJORS.LIFE SERVICES Subscriptions cannot be terminated by you part way through the Initial Term or Renewal Term.
You may terminate your MAJORS.LIFE SERVICES Subscription by emailing to major@majors.life. Nothing in the foregoing shall affect your right to cancel your MAJORS.LIFE SERVICES Subscription during any Free Trial that may apply to your MAJORS.LIFE SERVICES SUBSCRIPTION. However, we reserve the right to limit the number of Free Trials taken up by you.
If you have not paid for your SHAURYA POSH ACT COMPLIANCE SERVICES SUBSCRIPTION within 14 days of the due date for payment, in addition to the above termination rights, we are entitled to immediately terminate your SHAURYA.ORG.IN POSH ACT COMPLIACE SERVICES Subscription.
After your SHAURYA.ORG.IN POSH ACT COMPLIANCE SERVICES Subscription has been terminated
On termination of your ,SHAURYA.ORG.IN POSH ACT COMPLIANCE SERVICES Subscription you will no longer have access to or be permitted to access the Elements Subscription materials on the SHAURYA.ORG.IN Website/app. In addition, you agree to cease to use any SHAURYA.ORG.IN POSH ACT COMPLIANCE SERVICES Subscription materials in your possession and destroy all printed and electronic copies of the SHAURYA.ORG.IN POSH ACT COMPLIANCE SERVICES Subscription.
Refunds policy
We may grant refunds in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion on the user’s request for the same submitting reason for the refund. If you wish to discuss an exceptional refund please contact us at madhukar@shaurya.org.in.
